Composition

I frequently composed music during my degree course at The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where I liked to choose composition modules.  I am the first harpist from the College to have played my own composition in an end of year recital. I first started improvising simple pieces when I was very young, and now composing is a passion for me. I compose small scale works for small ensembles, but mainly I compose for solo harp.

I have had my works performed at the Royal Welsh College, in the composer concert series. One of these concerts was conducted by Kevin Price, the head of brass at the College. I have had tuition from Dr Timothy Raymond, Robert Spearing, and Michael McCartney. I am the composer for the ‘Keepers Project’ at Bryngarw Park, for which I recorded my compositions on my Welsh Eos harp, made by Telynau Teifi.

Please contact me if you wish to work with me as a composer, and please follow Facebook for updates on my current projects.
